EMT Pig Signalers (Pig Passage Indicator):
EMT Pig signalers are used to provide confirmation of the movement of pipeline pigs through a pipeline.
They are normally positioned at both the pig launching and pig receiving stations and at key points along a pipeline.
Before pigging, a signal transmitter needs to be installed on the pig. This is to detect the time when the pig passes through the pipeline. When the transmitter approaches the signal receiver, the receiver will alarm. Through this principle, the receiver can be arranged on the ground above the pipeline to determine whether the pig passes. The operator then opens the blind plate of the launcher. After opening the blind plate of the launcher, grease the launcher and replace the sealing rubber ring. This is to ensure that the launcher does not leak after chargin.
